A superb first season in Serie A for the England international has seen big clubs circling for his signature in the summer transfer window.

The 24-year-old scored 17 league goals and 27 in all competitions as Roma went on to win the Europa Conference League under Jose Mourinho.

His performances have caught the eye back in his home country, with Arsenal in desperate need of a new striker and now Manchester United joining the chase for the former Chelsea man.

Italian publication Corriere dello Sport report that the Gunners and the Red Devils are leading the race for Abraham, adding that ‘at least three’ Premier League teams are interested in signing him.

It would take a huge offer to convince Roma to sell the forward, though, having only paid £34m for him last year and after an excellent year in the Italian capital.

Abraham is also thought to be perfectly happy at Roma and in no rush to return to the Premier League.

An enormous offer from the likes of Arsenal or Manchester United could change the situation, though, with Roma unlikely to turn down something in the region of double what they paid for Abraham.

Chelsea inserted a buy back clause into the deal to sell Abraham, reportedly worth €80m (£68m), but it only becomes an option in 2023.
