St Review: Seyi Vibez’s “+234” — A Potential Hit On The Streets Or Just Another Average Song?

Seyi Vibez’s last serious music was on his EP, “No Seyi, No Vibes,” released sometime last year.

Since then, he’s done several songs and while they’re all okay, none of them was worth anything. Okay, maybe “No Caution” with Bella Shmurda did turn a few heads, but that’s about it.

That doesn’t stop the street-certified singer to continue to put out new music, though. Just this year, he has released two songs, “C Major” and “Billion Dollars.”

His music now is not different from what it has always been, mostly relaxing tunes about the hustle and life as a working boy. But it is still quite interesting what he could come up with each time.

The “God Sent” singer didn’t break into the mainstream until last year. Even though he had already been the soundtrack for the streets during the lockdown in 2020.

He took the momentum from 2020 and took it into last year when he had his chance to prove himself. He made a hit and made an EP, and it’s been all right so far.

Seyi Vibez just released another one called “+234” which is just another one of his hustle songs. Except this one has some style. From the catchy relatable lyrical content to the crowd voice on the hook. This one sounds like some effort may have been put into it.

No doubt, “+234” is a song for the streets. This is perhaps the first time Seyi Vibez is doing one for the core streets since he became a mainstream sensation.
